Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (PC) Jul 2025 – Apply Online for 36 Vacancy

The Indian Navy has released a notification for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) – Jul 2025 for unmarried male candidates. In all, there are 36 vacancies under this recruitment. Ellegible candidates who intend to join the Indian Navy under this scheme have to have passed 10+2 examination with the required marks in PCM-Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have appeared for JEE(Main)-2024. It will be available from December 6, 2024 to December 20, 2024. Candidates selected would be granted several allowances and privileges for training period and thereafter service in the Navy.

Qualification for the Post: 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (PC) – Jul 2025

Qualified students should have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary Examination or equivalent with aggregate 70% marks in PCM and 50 % marks in English either in Class X or Class XII, and appeared for the JEE (Main) 2024 exam for B.E./B.Tech. The choice procedure will be conducted as per the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024. Candidates born between January 2, 2006 and July 1, 2008 are eligible to apply.

  • Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from any recognized Board with at least:
    • 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM),
    • 50% marks in English (either in Class X or XII).
  • JEE (Main) - 2024: Candidates must have appeared for the JEE (Main) – 2024 exam (for B.E/ B.Tech).
  • SSB Call-up: Service Selection Board (SSB) call-ups will be issued based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024, published by NTA.

Selection Procedure

  • Cut-off for Shortlisting: Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix the cut-off based on JEE (Main) CRL 2024. Candidates must fill their CRL Rank in the application. SSB interviews will be held at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam starting from September 2024.
  • Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via e-mail and SMS. Ensure the provided contact details are correct and active.
  • SSB Centre: No change of SSB centre is allowed. Candidates will download the call-up letter after receiving the SMS/email notification.
  • Compensation: No compensation for injuries sustained during SSB tests.
  • Rail Fare: AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview for first-time applicants. Bring a photocopy of the passbook/cheque leaf with your bank details.

How to Apply

  • Registration: Candidates must register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Fill in details and upload documents in advance.
  • Application Process: While filling the online form, ensure personal details match the Matriculation/12th class certificate. Email and mobile number are mandatory fields.
  • Document Quality: Ensure scanned documents are legible, as illegible documents will lead to rejection.
  • Final Submission: Once submitted, the application is final and cannot be amended. Read all instructions carefully before submitting the application.
  • Eligibility: Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training. Married candidates will be discharged from service if found during training and will be liable to refund training costs.
